Launch tricks we have caught
Each of these makes a launch look fair or safe when it is not. Every entry links to a case study where we documented it on-chain, transaction by transaction, and the Bundle Check looks for all of them.

The self-lock
- Looks like:
- “98% of supply locked” — a safety sign.
- Really:
- The locks pay the tokens back to the creator on a date. Only a sliver trades, so the market cap is huge and means little.
- The tell:
- Open the lock: if the recipient is the creator, it is creator supply with a date on it.

The layered funding tree
- Looks like:
- Every first buyer has its own funder.
- Really:
- Money from one wallet is split through hundreds of brand-new throwaway wallets, ten layers deep, so each buyer looks independent.
- The tell:
- A buyer funded by several identical, oddly precise amounts from wallets created minutes earlier.

The whole curve in one transaction
- Looks like:
- No bundle: no group of wallets buying together.
- Really:
- One wallet buys everything for sale in the creation transaction itself. There is no crowd to find.
- The tell:
- The creator’s share right after the creation transaction.

The creation-block bundle
- Looks like:
- Fast buyers in the first second, like on every launch.
- Really:
- Wallets bought inside the creation block, right behind the creator — a place only a bundle sent with the creation can reach.
- The tell:
- Buys in the same block as the creation, at the positions right after it.

The “organic-looking” bundling tool
- Looks like:
- Many different wallets with different buy sizes.
- Really:
- Tokens handed out in identical shares to the last unit, and bots that sell on a fixed rule.
- The tell:
- Several wallets holding exactly the same raw token amount.

The pre-launch funding batch
- Looks like:
- Fresh wallets that happened to buy early.
- Really:
- One transaction paid dozens of wallets minutes or seconds before the coin existed, and they bought most of the supply.
- The tell:
- The last top-up each early buyer received before launch came from the same transaction.

A trick showing up on a coin is a reason to look closer, not a verdict on the people behind it. On-chain data shows how money and tokens moved, not who controls a wallet.
